I used to make that mistake early on too and think it was all about Fundamentals (very good for SSN too by the way).

Techs tell what are going to happen in the short term and there is nothing on the charts that say this is going to change yet...

Of course it doesn't take long when the news comes in, but no confirmation of downtrend yet.

I am all for fundamentals long term and look totally at them first but ignore the chartists at your peril IMHO
