Anyone have an idea of the breakdown of the test results for the following:
False Positive = ?
True Negative = ?
We know the True Positives were 38/57 or 67% (ie the participants that were predicted to have DKD and did)
and that the False Negatives were 19/57 or 33% (ie the participants that were predicted to have DKD but didn't)
I don't know of many commercial tests around with a false negative rate of 33% but anyway...
The article suggests the PromarkerD test uses a panel of 2 to 6 proteins... has the company revealed which proteins are used for the test? is it just the usual mix up of Microalbuminuria, Transferrins, Immunoglobulins, TNFRs... ?
