Would there be enough interest in this subject ?
I find it a very interesting subject, mainly due to so many interesting characters in one of my family trees
My mothers side includes the Spencer's , however we have only gone back to the birth of James Spencer in 1782, the son of Thomas and Ann ? (that is in this family tree, but I have gone back further in my own research)

there are Spencers, Millers, Croker, Kinchela, Beckensaal Gore.... and with the variations in the spellings
predominately from the UK, some Ire, some Fr

on my father's side, are the Fox, Baulch, Sargeant etc
mostly english, with some german and french

I posted the following over on the General Forum today, on the artist thread.....

I was wandering around our family history tree which we all add to as we find more information.

Her article in thepeerage is here. She was born a member of the Pennell family and adopted by the Croker family. Her birth father, William Pennell, held the office of Consul-General to Brazil while her adoptive father, John Wilson Croker, was Secretary to the Admiralty. Her husband, Sir George Barrow, became 2nd Baronet Barrow, of Ulverstone, co. Lancaster

John Wilson Croker was my relative.

This portrait is on the front cover of the book, Pride and Prejudice. It is a portrait of .....
