What is so wrong with taking steps to the tax you pay? I for one don't go out looking for ways to pay more tax, I like all Australians look for ways to minimise what I pay.
The reason our Politicians always look for ways to sting us harder, rather than look at ways to save money, is because spending is easier than saving.
If they can dole out more cash to the welfare recipients at the expense of those that work for a living they see that as a vote winner.
Shorten is the classic example...he wants to spend his way into Kirribilli!
As has been said over and over...a country cannot tax it's way to prosperity...all Shorten and his dopey ALP will do is kill off more business and more jobs. But why would he care...he lives 100% off the tax payer purse anyway, and for that matter has always lived off other people's money...
