Shadow treasurer Jim Chalmers was asked late last year if Labor would repeat its last election plan to impose a minimum 30 per cent tax on distributions from trusts.
“I think we’ve been really clear for some time now that we are going through and running a ruler over some of the commitments we made in previous elections,” Dr Chalmers said.
“Some of those we won’t take to the next election, some of those we haven’t come to a view.”
