Yes we have to remember they are exploring to see what's there and determine the best areas to keep. Whenever Cath talks about a well providing useful information I get the feeling she has low expectations. Having said all that for several years post-Fan-1 CNE have been talking about there likely being better reservoirs at a different location (the Fan-1 location having been picked to test multiple targets but not necessaily being located ideally for the lower reservoirs). That being the case if they were primarily looking for more oil they could have drilled Fan-1 again but they haven't.

I agree this could be a beauty but the chances are probably lower than some previous drills.
