I guess in a way the lower target at SNE-1 was not a success, and the carbonates at VR-1 did have HCs but not commercial. And Bel-1 top target was also non-commercial with just gas I recall. Happily all three had dual targets and the others came in!! Fan South-1 is similar in that there are two distinct targets (or more) and to me it would be surprising given the seismic and calibration of results to date against that seismic if we don't find something. The negative could be that what we find is like Fan-1 ... lots of oil but poor reservoir quality and low net to gross.
The added intrigue on this one is that at Fan-1 there was 500m of oil interval and NO oil water contact. I wonder if they will find it this time?
