OMH quarterly report out today (they own effectively 17% of Tshipi) shows quarterly exports of about 1m tonnes for the 3 months ended June.
The OMH past quarterlies and the MFD quarterlies don't align (the last MFD quarterly was for the March-May quarter). Put them together and you get these sales figures (tonnes):
Jan-Mar: 840k
Apr-Jun: 999k
Mar-May: 924k
Looks like June was a big month potentially (Impossible to be sure without knowing the monthly figures March and April).
There are clearly 1 or 2 big insto sellers with a heap of volume to offload at 38-40c and this will continue to depress the price for a while. Enjoy the divs while you wait.
Finally, does anyone know why there were such big negative votes at the AGM? clearly some of the big holders are annoyed for some reason. Has there been some historical dispute about the nature of the float or in relation to growth plans? Hard to understand why large shareholders would be annoyed enough to vote against so many motions at the AGM.
