That's the key - no figures given for this?
Example - I pay quite a few bills by credit card, and usually have about $300 on my card - but pay no interest, because any due amount is automatically deducted within the interest-free period.
That's the trouble with these stories - not enough information to judge whether or not there IS a problem!
