Just to elaborate on the antimicrobial studies, this is extremely unique. The novel mechanism of how it works so far has demonstrated that bacteria can not develop a resistance to it, unlike the worlds current supply of antibiotics.
Antibiotic resistance is a huge world health issue at the moment; this may be a silver bullet.
thus far, application is topical (which has various marketable applications) but last I heard, their looking at ways to get the product to spread through the blood/body like traditional antibiotics.
