b4b ................. after spending most of Sunday pouring over reserve replacement and its comparison to exploration I have come to the conclusion that in a M & A it is as important if not more important than the actual cost of oil, this is backed up by the fact that Shell has blown $US7b in the Arctic and found absolutely nothing!!!
IMO it is therefore very difficult to estimate exactly what, in a T/O situation, FAR is worth as we have no idea what value the the acquirer will place on Reserve Replacement!!!
