I wouldn't be too concerned by the development numbers. They are big - but not huge when you compare to other projects that get off the ground...
Gorgon LNG - $60Billion
Wheatstone - $30Billion
Ichthys - $35Billion
Woodside's (almost wholly owned) Pluto LNG - $12 Billion
Gina Rineharts' Roy Hill iron Ore - $10Billion
Twiggy's Fortescue Metals - initial was around $3Billion (he found the $$'s)...probably a further $5Billion since
I (as I think many people) have great faith that Senegal will more than stack up. FAR's share is not huge (in the finance world), and with the right backers the funds will be available (they may already be?)
