Hi H with the recent addition of FAN to our resources makes a total of 839 Mmbbls 2C, with our 13.7% ( most likely) coming in at 115 Mmbbls x a NPV of US$10 =US$1.15B or A$1.48B at today's exchange rate, or 27c share...so I guess that's a rough guide to what the Company would be looking for should it wish to sell out post FID or earlier...it's hard to say what value the market would put on it by FID but should certainly be considerably higher than now...market sentiment would have a big influence on that..
Of course by FID there is a possibility FAN south and SNE North could have 2C resources as well...
There is a lot of value not being priced in at the moment and for me that means no lasting downside with plenty of upside at some stage and the nearer we get to FID and then production, the bigger the gap between our current valuation and realizable value becomes..
Commercial success with A2 really would be transformational event for FAR but there is still a lot of value in Senegal....
I was reading a study recently , I wish i could find it again, that showed historically the period between FID and Production has the most effect on the shareprice for commodity companies...there is always the discovery excitement phase but it is usually short lived...post FID we are dealing with a project that is going too production with or without FAR.
The results of A2 would have a large influence on where we go with Senegal IMO and would be a lovely problem to have...
