My theory is that (generally speaking) a non commercialised entity is at the mercy of shorters and HFT's until such time that their output overrides the push and pull of the aforementioned. Good news releases have momentary effects but the fact that the company isn't producing insulates it from the positive as well as the negative. Or rather leaves it vulnerable to the manipulators.
My thought process when buying in was that it ticks the boxes to make a buck, so I get in and wait.
