    DB,

They forgot to label the wells on those slides so cant comment. Perhaps write to their IR on their website & ask for clarity.

All they need to know is if there's a rocky road or a motorway for the fluid to travel betwn well A&B & A&C. So shoot a 'high pressure Pulse' at one point & moitor the pressure drop & arrival at the other two basically.

Furthermore the sands at SNE r dipping down to the south which is why the 8k bopd sands disappeared at SNE3 into the waterleg & the other sands popped into the oil leg from the gas payzone & were oil saturated. Hope to see gas sands pop into the oil column at SNE-4.

It's good to have Oil in place, but prior to developing a field one needs to remove all uncertainities on blockage or compartments before booking Commercial (2P) reserves.

Proverbial hit the fan at 'Tiof' for Woodside when 1 Bil bbls OIP with 287-2C was downgraded due to low net-gross oil & connectivity issues. And then there was Chinguetti which went from 2P-123 to 53 mmbbls, wasn't a great story for Tullow & they've written off Mo'town acq. It happens.

The Sand nomenclature is done from the 3Dseis interp. Each formation gives its 'signature' which is validated when they drill the well & shoot more downhole seis.

    WN,

Not much has been released for the oilpay zone other then 24% poro, decent perm for SNE1 well & a typical pressure gradient of 0.31 psi/ft for the oil (0.12 for gas, 0.43 for water column) in Cairn's CMD presentation last May.

    Oil API is 32 & GOR is 750 scf/bbl. Oil Satur'n was 73%.

Relief is low so lateral wells is my take for this field to slice through the sands.

Anadarko finished drilling its first DW horiz well at Paon in Ivory Coast & r now drilling their second horiz. Same sort of API oil, 30-35m netpay, Cretaceous sands in deep waters. I guess CNE could do this at SNE during exploitation phase.

Kosmos had same porosity 25% at Tortue in their Lwr Cenomanian & Albian sands which were gas bearing as these were dumped west by the Senegal River ages ago & have less overburden & compaction in 2500m+ water depth. Their Teranga-1 well had 15-20% porosity. Hope this helps.
