I think your view of options weakening the SP is with the benefit of hindsight.
The money received from the options is what kept the company a float and allowed it to find the stones we have sold.

Or is it that we knew all along where they were so yes we did not need the options money ?

No we did not know anything did we , we hoped and so like any well managed company you have contingency plans in place, sometimes you need them some times you do not, that's business.

But if we did know then what we know now, we would also know where the Kimbo is ?
We are lucky that it appears our alluvial s will fund our kimbo search, the alluviall's which the options paid to find.

Hindsight, therefore,

Complaining about the options equates to buying a house under a flight path and then complaining about the airport next door.

I do however, agree with your last line, for NOW.
