This is what Warwick Grigor had to say....

An incoming party will have to be mindful to not act in concert so as to avoid breaching the takeover code, but that is not a major stumbling block. At the very least the shareholders have shaken the pot. They have expressed their concerns in a demonstrable fashion but haven’t provided a solution for the future. You can be certain that the jackals will be circling, so watch this space for further developments.


I am SPECULATING that the following will occur......

I am speculating that the " New Mob" (Mr Joey's term) will be attempting to entice a foreign entity (North American or Chinese) to enter the register via a placement ( CR) and then seek to either purchase the Kangankunde project outright or make a takeover offer for Lindian.

The shareprice will be "managed" (kept low) in order that any offer made will look attractive. Assume an offer well below LIN's 2023 high shareprice rather than everyone's high expectation.

In return for finding a buyer The Mob will receive a "facilitation fee" for services rendered. Similar concept to what Lindian offered Deep Bue Sea.

In order that there be no impediments the placement funds from the foreign entity will be used to pay off the final RVR tranche.

Now the only spanner in the works may come from Asimwe Kabunga and Friends making "a play" of some type or complications arising from the Deep Blue Sea Limited Malawi court case.


I will give it three months for the foundations to set.
