@pintohoo; until Australia's subservience to British Monarchs is severed the British Invasion which commenced in 1788 will continue.

We saw this in WW1 when Australians were sacrificed at Gallipoli to save 'Dear ol Blighty'.

We saw it again in WW2 when the UK tried to dictate that Australians fight in Europe to save 'Dear 'Ol Blighty' even as Japan was trying to invade Australia.

The nuclear testing by the UK on First Peoples Lands at Maralinga in SA was one phase of that invasion which demonstrated how little the human rights of indigenous Australians and non-indigenous Australians were to the British Government.

When the UK terminated trade with Australia in favour of the EU, British invasion took on a different complexion until Boris Brexited the UK and blew up the UK's tax-haven driven economy. Since then British invasion has returned to its corporations via renewed trade arrangements.

The Dismissal of Gough Whitlam's Government in 1975 was another phase of British Invasion wherein Australians were reminded of their subservience to a British Monarch.

Most recently British invasion has re-surfaced as economic homage - via AUKUS Australians will gift $368 Billion to the UK and to the USA for totally useless submarines which will almost certainly be used to protect the UK and the USA.
