I am sure CNE see value of the oil in the ground.
And I am sure that if CNE want to give it away, but I am sure they won’t, then FAR happily take it off their hands via an arbitrage deal.
FAR could package it up with some of their own and perhaps WPL’s 35% depending on what the Arbiters have to say.
And I guess at this point FAR doesn’t have to worry about WPL PE’ing since they aren’t officially part of the JV but “participating “.
And as an aside perhaps that is why we haven’t heard from CNE. Who knows!
At this point WPL’s hands are tied, but FAR’s aren’t.
At this point as I understand it, FAR could snaffle up a CNE sell down on behalf of Mr Big Oil.
Yes you really have to wonder who is really under the most pressure.
I am almost sure CNE isn’t to happy about the current situation. Almost guaranteed they aren’t funded?
