Hi Andy, correct to a degree, although without access to Tax returns not possible to say as carry forward accounting loss seldom equates to carry forward tax loss (due to non deductibles etc), but is usually close .... and if I was an accountant I couldn't say less someone might take my (lunatic) ravings on here for advice.... having said that. that is effectively just another asset available to the company (should it ever make a profit) and generally not one Mr market takes any note of.
