I agree that the sudden volume suggests that Senegal will be shelved as the JV won't be able to extract the value that they thought was possible 3 months ago. I'd be surprised if the three potential suitors had the same appetite for the deal now as opposed to when they started the due diligence on the data.
What I don't want to see in the quarterly is some motherhood statement about the continued negotiations with potential Senegal partners. We need something with a bit more meat to it (good or bad). Perhaps a comment on what Waller would be nice as well.
I'm still holding through gritted teeth and thankful that I have not decided to buy any more in the last month as the SP has plunged.
