Think about it again. When you are the JUNIOR partner in the JV and totally dependent on the other party for SP movements, it stands to reason the senior party will gain the most on the "ups" (as we have seen) and the loose less in the "downs."
I know there is a view that ARV is somehow an equal party because it owns a tool that might be usefull in the JV..the processing plants. Thats schoolboy thinking in my opinion, especially when your way behind and not contributing any technical expertise and playing schoolboy games with the JV.
Im starting to gain a bit of respect for the Shiekh, hes not even been there for a month and his influence is already starting to show. No doubt the boss has asked him to review things and come up with some ideas on how to bridge the glaring difference between the SP's of the joint venture partners. Although his findings are not rocket science, at least he has the standing to make the boss and DL listen.
The obvious first recommendation would have been to cut out the biting of the" hand that feeds you", and start cooperating in the joint venture. We have already seen that start. I bet the silly schoolboy tweets directed at Novo will stop.
The next obvious step we havent seen yet, but I bet there is a search on for someone with outstanding technical expertise and who is smart. I bet he will come from South Africa with wits experience. If ARV wants to develop their own tenements and raise its standing, they need this man badly..on the board and active on site catching up with whats going on.
One thing Ramper Bob (Moriaty) got totally wrong wascwhen he said "I cant see anyone ringing up the Sheikh and asking him how to mine the conglomerate" (or words to that effect), because it appears the boss has already done that, and the answers are coming.
Who knows what else we will see in the near future but I have no doubt the future looks brighter with his influence. I doubt he want to be associated with a "S*** Show" that ARV has been to a degree, rather a professional organisation equal if not exceeding Novo.
In the coming months it will be reflected in the SP and Im almost tempted to buy back in.
