To be fair, Ya, FAR was looking okay in February. Just as no one in Monty Python expected the Spanish Inquisition, no one expected the biggest global pandemic in a century. Once oil crashed and finance fell through, we were on a hiding to nothing.

    We'll probably get both!

It is idle speculation now, but had the pandemic not hit, who knows:

FAR would probably have found a way to fund the $100m gap.
Given Gambia's prospectivity, FAR would most likely have farmed down for a reasonable price v. retained acreage.
It would have drilling preparations underway.

Oh, and I hear you shout, a pig just flew past the window. And that's the whole point: We will never know what might have been. Such is life.

    OOO

Postscript: I hope for once Bell Potter gets it right - 2.5 cents would do me nicely to get my last remaining sheckles out of this debacle. Mind you, I'd be knocked down in the rush: I reckon most punters just want to make like a hockey player and get the puck out of here! Sub-1.0 cent if we trade again, in my view.
