FAR Pre-Trade 16th December - Morning Glory

Happy Wednesday, It's been a while since I have posted a morning update. I don't expect these will come out every day as I will soon be jetting off for one months leave where I will be trying my best to stay away from technology. 3 days to go, although not counting. I hope everyone else on the FAR thread has exciting plans for Xmas with family and friends.

On a positive note, we saw the largest volume in FAR yesterday as I understand it since May! Some solid accumulation going on it would appear.

In terms of overnight trading from Friday;
We have CNE up 2.79%, with Brent up almost $2.40 from the bottom two days ago to , COP up 2.42%;

be sure to have a look at the new CNE analyst report if you missed it, the first I have seen to include the blue sky estimates around upcoming drills and also a stack of dialogue around the programme;

I would assume the capper, or whoever is playing games on the sell side has positioned a few fake bids.
With the trifecta all being up overnight, expect the sells to drop out perhaps today;

When was the wireless phone invented?
A jazz musician named Teri Pall invented a version of the cordless phone in 1965 but could not market her invention, as its 2-mile (3.2 km) range caused its radio signals to interfere with aircraft communications. In 1968, she sold her rights to the cordless phone to a manufacturer who modified it for practical use.

(It just goes to show that patience and perseverance can be rewarded, imagine if she had hung onto the patent and continued on for a few more years? - hopefully an analogy for those that will be rewarded for their patience in FAR).

What's next;
TD (total depth) was reached on the 3rd of December, testing was expected to take 4 weeks (which would take us to the 31st of December) - although we seem to have shaved 20% of the time required off of the drill, I am not sure if we could see the same efficiencies within the testing phase?. Flaring is perhaps imminent and everything seems to be going to plan.

I expect there to be a great deal of promotion and news-flow over the next few months. To anyone doubting the promotion, think about the amount of time and energy that would have gone into the Video released by FAR, this is but an entree of things to come IMHO. The Video btw has hit thousands of views already. Separately it looks like we have just signed Morgan Stanley as Analysts covering FAR, the 11th to date, with a build from 5 from memory prior to Gordan Ramsey cooking up more - http://www.far.com.au/investor-centre/research-reports/
