Make no bones about it, the major SH's would have wanted a formal response from FAR, and quickly. Irrespective of how FAR perceived their disclosure obligations. I am glad that we have FAR's response too with their intention to follow up the publication. I am sure FAR would look for a formal withdrawal of article, if not it would seem they are not doing enough to make journos from reputable publications to stop inaccurate or unsubstantiated info being published.
I am a little surprised that the frustration did not lead to a formal ASX announcement to achieve total transparency. Nonetheless we have the refbuttal which was so urgently needed. Thanks.
