I've been through boom after boom but these days the so-called booms are not the same - the taxi drivers don't seem to talk shares any more and dinner parties even talk about stuff other than share prices!

In the Poseidon boom my boss held a few shares (as did I) and when they started to move he set himself the goal to have the brokerage on sale of his parcel exceed his total original cost - and he achieved his goal (and could even have made more, but he was satisfied with that!)
