Africa Oil went to 3bn CAD but froth soon got knocked off when production/politics/tax in kenya went native!
In this current market u are never going to reach 5$//bbl for anything still in the ground. IMHO unrisked value to FAR is no more than 1.50$ in current market conditions (LEK in Nigeria another example of 300mm bbl find but unrisked/un appraised and with mcp of 250m £). Dont think there is any way FAR will be 1bn$ mc until "discovery" fully derisked and funded. Just my take and I have held FAR before and think they are good outfit but this market is absolute shite!
