Valuations are meaningless.
They mean nothing at all.
For a very long time Warnambool Cheese was worth $1
Then someone decided they wanted to buy them.
So they went to $2
Then someone else decided they wanted to buy them at twice their previous price.
Then a dream bidding dual ensued and the winning bid was $10 a share.
How did a company that for so long had been valued on fundamentals at $1 a share find itself valued at 10 times that value?
That is our dream result.
A T/O bidding dual between 3 of the 7 sisters and a mysterious Chinese government owned, Communist party backed entity.
Value is realised when you have a very valuable asset that lots of big companies want to buy.
