Yes, you have hit the nail on the head, and I hate to say this, but therein lies the problem. In a persisting low oil price/share price environment, FAR would be continually forced to keep raising funds at a low share price with equivalent increases in ongoing dilution just to stay in the game (or be under pressure to sell down for the same reason, making premium takeovers less likely).

Now costs may continue to fall and that would certainly help, but really its "Tony999 to the rescue" - we need the oil price to go UP.
