Oh Dear, another 100 posts, and no sales evidence of 2C at USd4~8/bbl? Posters now questioning the Operators NPV of $4 at FID? 'Tell em es's Dreaming?
@zipperlip , to answer your question, I suspect FAR have to DEAL within this year, whichever way you cut it, FAR will struggle to raise $400~$700m to support an FID cash call in the next year or so, they have over played their hand imo. The upside is gone, the market will focus on development funding for the 1C.
The problems FAR have are, broadly :
1. Not enough equity (13.7%) to excite anyone.
2. CNE committed to go to production, and funded to do so (no such advisory or guidance from FAR), likewise no extra equity sale to 'piggy back' on
3. Murk of PE, DJ, Funding of Gambia weighing on SP
4. Resource predictions at Fans and SNE North discrediting any geo data offered.
5. 2C resources changing hands at $1/bbl (see posts on WPL thread)

The big ol game of 'gotcha' continues... with the clock ticking.... it aint pretty out there, I can tell you that for free.
