ME saves time by saying or writing FAR instead of First Australian Resources. It will also be easier for the employees & journalists & JV participants & investors to remember the company name and spell it correctly. These are probably the biggest benefits.
Plus it fits neatly on a business card and matches the ASX code.
All contracts written before the AGM used First Australian Resources and will remain that way. No need for change.
All contracts, correspondence after the AGM will have FAR in them.
Changing company name in documents currently being drafted is solved by Ctrl - R on the word processor (select "Replace All"). No need to wait for a name change to be finalised.
Nothing more, nothing less.
