watso does not really follow the english political scene too much .. except to say that when it comes to foreign affairs, then there is no real difference between the conservatives and labour ..

also watso does not watch too much australian tv news - but watched a snippet of sunak criticizing farage as being a putin puppet blah blah ..

of more interest though, was a news story about declining life expectancy .. particular reference to GLASGOW ..

it seems that when the tories were elected about decade ago - that the english PM (david cameron, from memory) started to cut back on welfare services .. and the conservatives have continued the policy .. and that is the reason for declining life expectancy ...
