"Why do you have to use every post to make an insult about Bush or Howard?
by the way where is the so called pro Bush drivel on any of todays threads?
Please enlighten us and show that you are not simply using these forums to spread hate filled vitriol.
Please don't come back and say any of the comments about Hicks are pro Bush so where is the drip drip drip?"
Dear Debono - a classic example of boring drip, drip, drip drivel is the previous four paragraphs!
I don't share material in here to appease anybody's prejudices - I was hoping to enlighten you and other Bush supporters about aspects of life on this planet that you seem woefully ignorant about.
If you find being educated about life difficult - that is your problem not mine!
BTW: I am not anti-American or I would not have chosen New York as the destination for my son's 'Coming of Age' present of a week's holiday in the Big Apple for which he leaves tomorrow.
Bush and his war on Iraq I despise with every fibre in my body - but then so do the majority of Americans!
America is a marvellous and diverse country and a neighbour I was chatting to this evening at Stephen 21st Birthday Party astonished me by saying that at Los Angeles Airport they are now landing planes four abreast at the same time on four runways at peak hours!
But don't get me wrong - because there are aspects of American culture that I find fascinating and attractive that does NOT mean that I find Australia (apart from the Howard fans) boring or unattractive.
Howard and Bush fans I find incredibly boring and unattractive - but not Australia!
Australia has been incredibly good to me.
Mind you there was some hard work persistence and good luck involved.
But it's a strange co-incidence Debono but the harder I work the luckier I seem to get!
I can think of no place that I rather live than Australia - especiallly as the nasty kid caging Howard regime is no longer with us!
The sense of cleanliness and honour that I now feel about Australia and the new Australian Goverment is so good I still wonder if it's true!
And the best part is the best is yet to come!
There is a real buzz in Canberra and something ease I've noticed is:
Unlike other years, the traffic has not eased off as much as it usually does at this time of year!
The public service is working frantically during the wind-up period (for a new goverment) at a time that is normally a wind-down holiday period - hence the almost normal traffic flows!
Labor has got the public service 'on the move' in a way that it would never respond during the PS-hating and union- hating Howard era.
There was only one thing the Howard regime loved - POWER over lesser mortals - and the lesser mortals (Hip! Hip! Hooray) brought it crashing down!
