    ...can someone help me please...when I hit 'start'...'search'...'files or folders'...my comp contemplates it's navel for a minute, then ...nuthin'...
    ...in general it seems to be running very slowly...
    ...does anyone have any suggestions as to rectifying my situation...?
    ...many thanks in advance...(I'm running windows 2000)
    ...P.S. ...1/ did the windows 'error check' thing...2/ did a virus check(found 2 trojans which were supposedly deleted)...
