Welcome to the share market. Firstly, don't be willing to lose any money or even start with that attitude or the game is lost. You need to read a book called "Trading in the Zone" by Mark Douglas. Its probably the best book I have read on the psychology of trading and was recommended to me by a hedge fund guru. Being successful (everyone definition of success is different) at trading for me comes down to being strong in two main areas, research and attitude.
Good luck but don't set yourself up to fail by starting with the wrong attitude.
