my take is as posted by others that it is pure speculation indeed based on the fact KAR have at this point only a 25m oil column of Eocene age oil not tested elsewhere ( which could be really good for them) but which the appraisal well will determine IT'S REAL value - ie is it a 400m oil column or just 40m with huge gas cap.

most would like to see the former column before committing I reckon and then there all the other potential age oil accumulations down to pre salt - a lot rides on kangaroo 2 which if successful will certainly give the sp a REAL HOP!!
