at least 20 meters width x length in your property X current land price x 30% and as owner you still get to farm the piece of land. There is no road beside it and not fenced off. Not like transmission lines, you don't need an access road for gas pipelines, just property access and access through fences.
So given all that it means really poor consultation///or a beat up.
Usually farmers ask "can you move the pipeline 100 meters? Then you'd clean up that row of trees for me when you put it in."
