    @bacci the wages aren't that bad, in many cases it is based on piece rates - there lay the problem good workers make good money, unfortunately good Australian workers are hard to find unless they are in the 50 plus demographic- then you are unable to get enough of them.

    We have had the situation where young healthy guys turn up, indicate they will be there for the 3-5 month harvest, thirty minutes into work they quit.

    Government handouts are way too high, overseas workers want to work as they want to travel our beautiful country once they have finished harvest.
