I had googled the republics power supply,as this was one of the reasons GP said was holding them back from production.
It would appear they produce quite a lot of electricity which is sold on the black market.
Who wouldnt be upset at paying more for less of it.
Just as a footnote 17000 households had their gas supply cut off in Perth for nonpayment in 2009.
The WA state government is going for price parity with no subsidies,so the only way is up for enegy prices.
This was forshadowed accross the planet and hence my investing in energy companies.
