Ive just received a response from FAR on CNE's numbers...
"The numbers released are Cairn numbers and not agreed by the JV. JV is expected to release a JV view in the coming months.
Cairn is consistently using a lower recovery factor for both the deep, 500 series reservoirs (that make up the bulk of the 1C resource) and also the upper 400 series reservoirs. FAR will be releasing their final view in a couple of weeks. It’s to be noted that WPL announced last year (pre-integration of SNE-4, SNE-5, SNE-6 data) that their estimate of 2C was 560mmbbls. We expect WPL’s estimate to be closer to FAR.
FAR Hopes to updates its resource numbers very soon".
