15% of 563 million is 84,450,000 eighty-four million four hundred fifty thousand barrels of oil to FAR (NET).
Now the real question is - how much profit per barrell is there? - According to FAR's latest investor presentation the NVP is US $12.50 per barrel at FID US $70 per barel.
So IF the Price of Oil ever gets to $70 per barell (currently $51 per barrel) then I believe the following calculation would be accurate:
84 million barrells net to FAR x 12.50 = 1 billion and fifty million dollars.
Now assuming we have 6 billion shares on issue. 6 billion (shares) / 1 billion (dollars)
= 0.16.6cents (in USD). Now 1 USD currently equales 1.27 AUD. So 16.6 x 1.27 = 21.082 cents per share.
Now this requires POO at US $70 and assumes an NVP of $12.50 (see FARs latest presentation).
Does this look accurate? - seriously - please feel free to go to down on my maths. I want to get this as accurate as possible.
