    Toma thanks for the ignore but perhaps you or someone else could explain how FAS "paid" the 50 odd million for the shareholding, where the money came from and who it was "paid" to. The reality of the transaction was that the cost of the GWR shares was not the price of the GWR shares on the day of purchase, the cost was the total value of FAS shares swapped on that day. It might suggest that from that day FAS had made a PROFIT on that transaction but at no stage did FAS PAY the amount stated in the balance sheet.
