The difference between a placement to investors and the frequent but smaller 3B share issues is the constant new issuing of shares at a discount to the current share price places continuous downward pressure on the share price as Gurney is normally looking to offload the shares for a small profit as quick as they are issued. However as already posted there was no increase in share volume this time so perhaps something is around the corner especially as the price slide has stopped for the time being.
