Actually MMI is a bit controversial in geochemical circles. I know several CSIRO scientists who insist that there is no possible mechanism for it to work and in places where it has worked it was coincidental with other detection methods.

In fact, one senior CSIRO scientist did an analysis using MMI, red wine and coke cola and the red wine and coke came back with better results. (That would make for an interesting exploration campaign!).

Anyway, not bagging FML in the slightest - I'm a holder. My point is not to necessarily trust in one particular exploration technology - you need multiple data sets to be sure of anything. Hence you last statement about needing to drill, drill, drill in spot on.
