I can't see any evidence of the tide turning. Where is your evidence?
Any country that is left behind (I am looking at you USA) because of their allegiance to FF, noise, power, smoke, etc will be sorry, as it will miss out on one of the greatest technological advancements.
We are already seeing it with those traditional auto makers that have not paid attention to Tesla, in fact they derided it, and now the eggs are on their faces.
