Fast Track status just doesn't seem to actually make a difference along the path to commercialization. It was granted to Cvac a long time ago, well before the Sept 2013 announcement of the CAN003 trial results.
Accelerated Approval is the real "Fast Track". It allows the drug or treatment to go on sale even before all the trial results are in, as long as safety has been proven (see Olaparib). If they are trying to apply for this, they can't comment on it until the FDA issues an announcement.
I hope it's a possibility but I just don't know.
