Prophets hope to profit from fat fund
The founders of the stock market tip sheet Fat Prophets said they would establish a listed investment fund. They aim to raise $40 million for the fund, which they will name the Fat Fund. Fat Prophets adopted a mostly bearish stance towards stocks and the economy last year, predicting the All Ordinaries would fall in 2004. The All Ords in fact rallied to a record.
