Watching this one from afar for years and had been looking at buying in as gold and silver prices look interesting.
Given the parlous state of affairs, is it not sensible for the Board and Management team to forego salaries? Today in AFR, "Murray Goulburn Directors will waive their fees for the next 2 months in response to questions about board remuneration." and also that "no executives will receive their short term incentive payments in financial year 2016."
Has the Company outlined the costs associated with mine closure? Rehabilitation and restoration?
Is there compensation due to workers who will regretably lose their employment?
Looking at Reuters newswires this morning, reading between the lines, there really must be considerable bad blood between KCN and the authorities.
Sadly it appears not much left for long suffering shareholders.
