I used to subscribe to Fat Prophets Mining. They identified many excellent buying opportunities and I made alot of profit.
However, their greatest shortcoming is they rarely advise members to reduce their positions or sell. This one must learn for themselves.
If you examination their portfolio, you will see on most stocks they rode the market up and down and rode many recommendations into liquidation (eg. CUO, BMO)
If you do not know how to set sell targets based in PE ratios, Fat Prophets are very dangerous.
Also, whether Fat Prophets Mining or Industrial, their rationale is based on too high PE ratios, especially FP Industrial, which I would avoid.
Apart from that, their analysis is usually good and can serve as an excellent basis for setting sell targets based on PE ratios.
