IMHO I belive you should have a look at what the advisers are saying to an extent ,put on watch list,do some research,read the stock forums to see what some of the punters are saying(dont believe a lot of them,but just grab a feeling what is happening and follow up with what they are saying)then its all gut feeling.Then ditch what you think are rubbish and buy what you want.If you are still unsure, ask questions on the forums(but again dont belive most and shop around the forums)
Everyone is out to make a buck in the end and all you really have got is yourself in the end with the same mission.Do your own research and dont buy on hype.
